ERH has been recognised for excellence in stroke care on the national and international stage, receiving the World Stroke Organisation Angels Gold Status Award in 2021 and 2022 and Australian Stroke Coalition Excellence in Stroke Care awards in 2021 and 2022 for meeting the highest standards in stroke treatment and care. It has an excellent track record in successfully translating pilot projects into routine clinical practice.
